The Book Cabin Opens a New Chapter in Our Story

The Book Cabin has been asked to vacate our store in The Kennet Centre Newbury, as the shopping mall is closing in January 2026 to build new houses.  


Very sad news!  


However, as one door closes, another opens and The Book Cabin is on to pastures new and exciting.   We will be running events and roadshows both in the UK and Internationally, whilst we search for our perfect new permanent premises in West Berkshire.


We are also opening a Shop in Chelsea, London SW3

Marlborough Christmas Lights 2025

The Book Cabin held our first very exciting and successful roadshow event at the local Market in Marlborough. 


It was such a pleasure to be involved, and The Book Cabin had a wonderful time.  It was great to meet new customers and some existing ones!

Today, we have become a go-to destination for book lovers across regions. Our new shop in Chelsea, London SW3 is opening soon. And we have a packed 2026 roadshow of events across Europe in our Mobile Book Cabin Library! Our passion for books and commitment to quality has remained unchanged.
